Driftwood House is an immaculately presented and spacious three bedroom townhouse in the heart of Bournemouth town centre. Spread across three floors, boasting a courtyard garden and off road parking, Driftwood House offers an excellent location and convenience without compromising on space. Just a stone’s throw from Bournemouth beach and gardens, the BH2 complex, the BIC and a plethora of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in Bournemouth Triangle, there is something for everyone!
The A338 is close for access into Dorset and Bournemouth Airport.
THE SPACE
Arriving at Driftwood House by car, you will come through the gated entrance and park in the car port directly under the property. There are bike racks available for use in the car park, and an outside tap for sandy toes and mucky pups.
Utility room
Upon entering there is a utility room to the left which offers a washing machine, dryer, full size fridge/freezer, ironing board, iron and high chair for the little ones.
Master bedroom
On the first floor you will find the generously portioned master bedroom, bright and airy with shuttered windows overlooking the private courtyard, only accessible to you and the neighbouring residents.
There is a king size bed with bedside tables, dressing table with stool, chest of drawers and hanging space for clothes.
The master bedroom has the benefit of a brand new ensuite, immaculately presented with floor to ceiling subway tiling and a mixer tap shower with rainfall head. The contrast of the matte black fixtures and fittings with the tiling exudes understated style and promises a relaxing experience. For your convenience there is a mirror over the wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. We will provide towels and complimentary mini toiletries for use during your stay.
Family bathroom
Also located on the first floor, the family bathroom is finished to a luxurious standard. Floor to ceiling marble style subway tiles contrast against the grey-washed wooden flooring, providing a serene and calm atmosphere. There is a bath, perfect for a long soak in the tub after a day out shopping, or a shower overhead if preferred.
For your convenience there is a mirror over the wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. We will provide towels and complimentary mini toiletries for use during your stay.
Open plan kitchen/lounge
Up the second set of stairs, there is an open plan lounge/kitchen which spans the whole floor, providing a sociable, communal space for all guests.
The lounge diner has an extremely comfortable three seater leather sofa, which is perfect to chill out on and watch a film on the 50” Smart TV, which you can use to sign in to your preferred streaming platform. There is also a turn of the century style armchair and pouffe in the corner which is ideal to curl up and read a book or take a nap!
There is a dining table nestled in next to the shuttered windows which can accommodate four people and can also double up as a workspace if required. WiFi is included within your stay.
The kitchen features stylish dual palette cabinets set against sleek grey tiling and a marble effect worktop. Fully kitted out with everything you need to cook up a storm, you will find an induction hob, electric oven, integrated fridge with freezer space and all the usual small appliances. A petite breakfast bar with beautiful feature lighting separates the lounge and kitchen areas, and can also be used as a workspace as required.
At the far end of the kitchen there is a door opening to the front of the property, which leads out to the courtyard garden.
Bedrooms 2 and 3
The third floor of Driftwood House offers two further bedrooms, each equipped with bedside tables and space to store clothes. Bedroom two features a double bed, while bedroom three is furnished with a single bed which pulls out to a double bed with a second single mattress. The shuttered windows provide views across neighbouring rooftops and trees, giving the rooms a calm and tranquil feel, and with it, the promise of a restful night’s sleep.
WC
With ink blue tiles against pale blue and white Moroccan-inspired floor tiles, who knew a WC could feel so elegant? There is a mirror over the basin and a heated towel rail.
Located on the third floor, for the convenience of the guests in bedrooms 2 and 3. We will provide towels and complimentary mini toiletries for your use during your stay.
Courtyard garden
The garden to the side of the property is accessed via a gate and steps. Beautifully presented with a paved patio and raised planter area.
There is also a retractable washing line which is useful for wet swimming clothes, wetsuits, etc.
